It seems like every day brings a new publication-related event. Please bear with me while I continue to crow a bit, but after 50-odd years (and I guess I do mean “odd”) of dreaming and many, many years of work, I can’t keep it to myself.
Today sees me as a featured writer on The Book Depository website. I’m there with my little photo, talking about 10 of the books which have recently been important to me. (Lots of writerly stuff, so some of you might really want to check it out). Plus my lovely, wonderful publisher, bluechrome, has also written all about it and about Tangled Roots on his “blueblog” — and he’s a lot funnier than I am.
So there you go, my boasting for today. Thanks everyone!!

It’s not boasting to be proud of something you’ve accomplished. It’s damn difficult I’m discovering and extremely heartening to hear of others’ successes. (Have I got that apostrophe correct? I’m full of cold and almost don’t care… very unlike me.)
