It was my wonderful friend, Cassie’s, birthday lunch today. We went to a chi-chi Japanese restaurant and ate edemame, black cod, tempura, noodles, some sort of sushi type-thing, skewers of this and that. Yum. Then after a lovely lunch, we realized there was only one thing left to do — go out for cupcakes. The Hummingbird Bakery and chocolate cupcakes with chocolate icing (although some opted for vanilla cake with chocolate icing or vanilla with vanilla). Now, what does one usually do after such a lunch ( which, of course, included wine — did I mention the wine?)? One goes for a yoga lesson. Sushi, wine, cupcakes and downward dog. Need I say more?
PS That’s me in the photo. Really. What? You don’t believe me?
Mmmm, all the food sounds lovely – but I might just pass on the yoga!
I’m with Helen on that one!!

I ought to pass on the food ( good intentions and all that) but I’ll join you in the yoga class…
I think if you indulge in Downward Dog after all that nosh, you run the risk of ‘Back Up the Dog’ some time during it. Or is that just me?
