A few more things of note for today:
1. For those English-speaking Europeans out there, I will be interviewed on Radio Europe on their book show tomorrow, Thursday, 29 May at 1.20 pm (or should I say 13.20?). Give a listen if your can.
2. Then, on Saturday, 31 May, what my publisher has boldly called “Sue Guiney’s Worldwide Book Signing Tour” begins in…….Reading, at the Waterstones in the Oracle Shopping Centre. I’ll be there signing books and making scintillating small talk from 1.00-2.30
pm. If anyone is in this part of the UK on Saturday, do drop by. A friendly face would be most welcome! Gee…do you think there’s a Waterstones in Tahiti?
3. Those wonderfully bookish people at The Book Depository have asked me all sorts of interesting and difficult questions to which I’ve provided truthful and frank answers. You can read the interview here and then browse around the site. If you don’t know it, it’s a great and easy place to find books to buy (even those other than mine) and well worth a look.
4. And lastly for today, IT’S MY BIRTHDAY, and so I thought I’d play for you one of my all-time favourite songs, by one of my all-time favourite groups, which seems especially appropriate for me and this unusually eventful year I am having.
Happy Birthday.
Hope you’re having fun.

Happy Birthday Sue. These are really exciting times for you. I’m glad it’s all going so well:-)
Off to check out your interview:-)
Happy Birthday! I pop by to have a read now and again and always enjoy it. Thought it was time I said ‘Hello’.
And what better time than a birthday AND a book launch!
Happy birthday! Hope you have had a good one.
I very much enjoyed reading the interview. But 9 years… Is that a record? 🙂
Happy Birthday – again! 🙂
Hope you’ve been having a great day.
Your schedule certainly sounds hectic with all the PR – you’re going to need a holiday after all this, I think!

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone! and…
Stevyn: Thanks for dropping by. I’m glad you said hi.
Ario: 9 years may not be a record but it’s so long I’d rather not think about it! I had been thinking it took me 5 years, but then I went back and really looked at the dates on my early drafts. Scary!
