Meet the Author

Today I really am going to sit down and write the article that’s due.  But first…….

How can I not tell you about me being on “Meet the Author“?  It’s terrifying and exciting and embarrassing and scary and invigorating and….I guess I’m not used to all this yet.

Look over to the right-hand column and you can click on it there (or above I guess).  If you dare.
Also, I’m off to more wintry climes next week.  Back to the States to show my son what life in a US university might be like, 
otherwise known as “THE COLLEGE TOUR.”  Some of you will know the depths of what this all means.  And for the rest — I’m bringing my laptop with me and I’ll try to keep you up to date.  So if I go quiet for a while, you’ll know why.  (It’s just me silently lamenting the approaching departure of my youngest).

    You come across really well on the ‘Meet the author’ thingumy giggy (Technical term. I particularly liked your sex, drugs and rock n roll comment at the end :-). Your book sounds fab – I will definately be buying a copy!!

    I’ve yet to experience the fleeing from the nest but my eldest is on an exchange to France at the moment and the house is very quiet!
    Your meet the author video was very polished and impressive! Mine would sound like Paul O’grady with a mouthful of biscuits!

    I have no idea what ‘the college tour’ means, but it could be a great basis for a book 🙂 I hope that you have fun/find what you’re searching for.

    And ‘Meet the Author’ – I saw that below me in Writer’s News. The link isn’t working on my pc, I’ll try on Gary’s. Let me know if you think MTA helps at all. I would have to balance out what seems like a large expense (especially outside of London) for what is gained.

    Thanks, Caroline! I have no idea whether MTA will help or not, but I figure it can’t hurt. I have no idea how much it costs or how he pays for it — my pr firm put it together for me. But I’ll let you know if I can suss it out.

    Hi, poetess. Meet the Author is an internet site (the website address is in the blog). If you click on it it should take you right there. It is a pretty cool site, I must admit. And I’m glad you like the covers!

    you looked very relaxed, like a real pro – not one ‘mm, uh’ So how many colleges have you swept through now? What if he decides to stay in England ?
