Last week I shared some thoughts, via Philip Pullman, about the importance of kids’ access to stories and poetry. Today, I can take this even further when I share with you an article from the Gallup Poll blog called Teachers Who Promote Creativity See Educational Results. This is the sort of thing that those of us who work with the arts and education smack our heads and say, No kidding. We know this is true. But many people need proof of the sort that polls provide, and so I’m thrilled to see this and share it with you. Some important reading for educators, parents, writers and all.
