I’ve been called many things, but this one I like 🙂  ‘A Writer Abroad”
This is also the name of a fairly new magazine  (the 2nd issue is now out) whose mission statement is clearly stated on its cover:
             Connecting Writers
All Over the World            and then it quotes Mark Twain:
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
Now that’s one great quote!
The magazine is full of writings from all over the world, and there’s an interview in there too this time…..of me (see page 9, but only after reading pages 1-8).
You can read this excellent free magazine either here or here.
And by the way, for those of you wondering where I am now other than on the pages of this magazine — I’m in Phnom Penh leading a 4-day training session of Cambodian teachers interested in helping to teach the Writing Through Cambodia workshops. And thanks to Enfants du Mekong for asking me to do this.
